The Pachamama Alliance, a nonprofit in San Francisco, hosted a gathering of 105 individuals from around the world for a weekend-long conference. To honor these participants, the organization commissioned me to create a large art piece. I illustrated each person’s portrait, with the background consisting of aspects from their personal lives (native flora and fauna from their home country, hobbies, favorite animals and places, etc.) on puzzle pieces. They came together to form a 90”x42” picture, and each individual received their piece as a gift. Below are the puzzle pieces, with the completed picture at the bottom. Names have been whited out for privacy reasons.
