BESPOKE FAMILY ILLUSTRATIONS

Bad Attitude Bunny bespoke family illustrations are fully customized drawings chock full of personal details that show how special your loved ones are. Whether “family” to you means spouses and children, pets, or friends and chosen family, I delight in telling the stories of your favorite people (and animals!) through art. I specialize in details and try to include as many as you would like. After all, it’s these little things that really make an individual unique.

  • STEP 1

    Please provide a description of the kind of illustration you want. The most common requests are full scenes or portraits with decorative borders/backgrounds (see examples). Usually a client already has an idea of what kind of details they want included, but if they don't, I work one-on-one with them to come up with a list. Some details you might want to consider including are:

    • Hometown landmarks or significant places

    • Clothing or accessories with special meaning

    • References to favorite movies, TV shows, or music

    • Favorite foods

    STEP 2

    Send me any reference photos you have. The more the better! For people, it's especially important that you send photos showing their entire face. For pets, please send photos from various angles.

    STEP 3

    I create a sketch of the artwork for you to approve. This will be a rough drawing so you can see the general layout. At this stage, you don't have to worry about details yet; just focus on the overall look. You can, of course, request changes.

    STEP 4

    You'll receive the line drawing to approve. At this stage you can start to request changes to more specific details.

    STEP 5

    The color art will now be ready for your approval. At this stage, you can request changes to the color only. All other change requests will incur an extra fee of $50 per hour.

    If all else looks good, I'll go back and add any remaining details.

    Finally you will receive a high resolution digital file that can be printed at a maximum size of 12x18 inches, or 30x40 centimeters (depending on where you're located). If you want something larger, please make sure to let me know in your message.

  • You can print your customized illustration on anything you like. Some options include, but are not limited to: mugs, invitations and cards, prints to be framed. Please note that any custom artwork is for PERSONAL USE only.

  • Simpler, portrait style artwork with a simple background start at $300. The cost includes up to three figures.

    More complex pieces such as portraits with detailed borders or full scenes start at $600.

    The final cost of the artwork will depend on the level and number of details involved since more details means that it will take me longer to complete. I require half the payment upfront and the second half at completion of the artwork.
